Monique Donahue is a 20+ year veteran in the field of instructional design and technology-based education. She has designed and developed curriculum, certifications, and instructional materials for major hospitality corporations in all areas of lodging and related industries.
In her current role as Director, eLearning for Hilton Grand Vacations, Monique is focused on managing the design and production of e-learning solutions, training curricula, and performance development initiatives for Sales and Marketing teams. Prior to joining Hilton in 2013, she spent 16 years with the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute, where she led the development of all off-the-shelf and customized industry training and professional certification programs.
Monique earned her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Tufts University and has completed graduate-level coursework toward a Master of Science degree in industrial/organizational psychology at the University of Central Florida (UCF). She has published in Hotel Management magazine and the eLearning Guild’s Learning Solutions e-Magazine, and was a contributing author to Best of The eLearning Guild’s Learning Solutions: Top Articles from the eMagazine’s First Five Years. She has also been an active member of CHART (Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers) since 2003, serving in a number of volunteer capacities and leading the overhaul of CHART's competency program. She has served 4 years on the CHART board as Education Strategist and is the current 2019-2020 CHART President-Elect.
