Keynote Presentation:Creating Flourishing Teams-Leading and Communicating for Impact
Personally and professionally, everyone has a purpose!  No one outside of Jesus is more important in an organization than the IT team!  Bishops or other leaders in Diocesan organizations may think otherwise, but we all know who they called when the pandemic hit!   From tasks as small as "phishing expeditions" to tasks as essential as providing network and data access, IT plays a vital role in accomplishing the mission of Christ and the functioning and flourishing of the mission of the diocese.

In this presentation, I will
-cast a noble vision for the work of IT and the people that accomplish it.
-examine the human dimension to IT work and how personality plays into organizational flourishing.
-propose the "table" as an image to develop effective communication with greater impact.

Day2: Session 1-Digital Governance Panel-WHY, HOW, WHO

“Are you overwhelmed with requests from offices and parishes across the organization without clarity on priority? Are you always greasing the squeaky wheel? Does everyone want the shiniest and latest technology, when the organization can’t afford it, and you’ll end up full time managing it? Does it feel like you are herding cats? This panel will discuss how governance strives to bring order to chaos by forcing the tough conversations on which projects take priority, which applications get approved and how even data governance is essential to serve the mission of the Church. Join to hear how various dioceses are wrestling to drive process and governance, the approaches being taken, and ways to gain buy-in from leadership.
